Modifying the VIP Address 10gR2

Run the following commands as root to modify your VIP addresses:

11gR2 CRS AUTO_START resources

I just did a 11gR2 build on Virtual Box and the 'TARGET' of certain resources was offline. To modify to 'AUTO_START', for a resource, check it's current state first:

Then, execute the following the modify the properties:

11gR2, dbconsole, ASMSNMP

Those who want to configure their ASM instances within dbconsole on 11gR2, just carry out the following steps:

10g RAC OCR Backup

The OCR disk are automatically backed up to %CRS_HOME%/cdata/crs, but if you want to backup to another location, run the following command to export the OCR disk to a file:

ORA-19502 and ORA-27072

The above error occurs when the file system has filled up, although the error message doesn't strictly say that.


Run a df -h to check and then delete unwanted files.
